Columbus Weather: Strong storms possible later Wednesday evening
COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Good Wednesday morning! We had around eight observed tornadoes on Tuesday in Ohio and the National Weather Service will be assessing the damage to confirm the strength, length, and number of tornadoes. They may not get to all of the areas today due to another round of severe storms expected for later today. Most observed tornadoes were in Western Ohio and then one along the Ohio River in far Eastern Ohio, but thankfully Central Ohio did not have any observed twisters.

Linden intersection project could be spark for traffic safety and growth in neighborhood
North Linden leaders hope a road realignment project will improve traffic safety and draw in new development and businesses to a busy neighborhood street. Columbus City Council moved forward with $1.2 million in funding and awarded a contract to Complete General Construction Company to help realign the intersection of Cleveland and Myrtle avenues. The project would also install new curbs, resurface and realign the curving intersection and do other infrastructure work.
