Sheriff: Suspect pulled from Big Walnut Creek following stolen-vehicle pursuit throughout Columbus
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A man was arrested after reportedly leading Franklin County deputies on a pursuit throughout Columbus in a stolen vehicle early Tuesday morning. The pursuit started at 3:50 a.m. when deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office spotted a vehicle on Cleveland Avenue and Innis Road in the North Linden area, A dispatcher with the Columbus Division of Police said the vehicle involved in the pursuit was reported stolen but did not say where it was taken from.

Ohio man allegedly gave 3-year-old boy fatal dose of Benadryl
FRANKLIN COUNTY, Ohio (TCD) -- A man is in custody on suspicion of giving a 3-year-old child too much Benadryl last month, causing him to die. On April 13, at around 6:18 p.m., deputies with the Franklin County Sheriff's Office responded to a home on London Groveport Road in reference to an unresponsive child. Authorities learned the 3-year-old victim was in the care of a family friend, 35-year-old Randy Mollett, when the boy allegedly had a seizure. Fire department personnel transported the child to Nationwide Children's Hospital in Columbus in critical condition, where he later died.

Coroner says 1-year-old boy died from fentanyl overdose, Columbus police investigating
COLUMBUS, Ohio — A 1-year-old boy died from a fentanyl overdose in February and his death was ruled a homicide, according to the Franklin County Coroner's Office. Dymar Byrd was taken to Nationwide Children's Hospital on Feb. 27 where he died. According to the coroner's autopsy report, the boy died from acute toxic effects of fentanyl.
