Dee Ann Warner’s Brother Sends Message to Her Husband, Law Enforcement, and Prosecutor’s Office

It’s been over a year since Dee Ann Warner, 52, went missing from her Tecumseh, Michigan farm. Dee was a mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. Those who love her continue to fight to get justice for Dee. They don’t believe she ran off and they don’t believe she is still alive. The fact Dee has been gone over twelve months and no one has been arrested or held accountable only adds to their pain.

Today, at a press conference, Dee’s brother, Gregg Hardy, sent a message to Dee’s husband, Dale Warner, law enforcement, and the local prosecutor’s office. “This is all about the truth. This is about a wrong that needs to be gotten right.”

Mr. Hardy addressed Dee’s husband by saying, “My advice to Mr. Warner is stand up. You’ve got one chance to do what you can for your family, specifically for your minor child that is ten, and do what you ought to do. We’re not going to stop. We’re going to keep going and we will absolutely get the the bottom of this before it’s over. So, Mr. Warner, don’t destroy the rest of your family. You’ve already destroyed part of it. Do something for the other people left in your life. That’s my message to him.”

Mr. Hardy mentioned many times how grateful he was to have Billy Little, Jr., nationally recognized investigative attorney, working hard to gather and analyze evidence in this case. “This is all about the truth,” Mr. Hardy said. “This is about a truth that needs to be gotten right.”

“My message to law enforcement is please keep working,” Mr. Hardy said. “Do what you’ve done, but do more. Cooperate with Billy and his team because they are all trying to do the right thing.”

Mr. Hardy’s frustration was evident when he said, “And lastly, for the prosecutor’s office here locally: step up. Step up or get out of the way, whichever you’d like to do, but there’s been enough of this. We’ve got to go. We’ve got to get it done.”

While this past year has taken a toll on the family, they are not wavering in their fight to get justice for Dee. If anything, their momentum is building. Mr. Hardy is grateful for all the support his family have gotten from the community. He said, “It’s amazing, after this long of time, the number of people who have come forward, including as late as last night, with information relating to the case. What it’s done is give us new energy to attack this thing and bring it to an end.”
