As Donald Trump continues campaigning for the Republican candidate for President in 2024, one question comes to mind - who will he choose as his running mate for Vice President? Some have mentioned Marjorie Taylor Greene. Then others mentioned the Arizona candidate for Governor Kari Lake.

Then there is one other candidate for Vice President that has been mentioned.

Nikki Haley.

Then as a female, she would help Trump’s campaign and attract voters during the election.

While in South Carolina on a weekend campaign, Donald Trump received a phone call from Nikki Haley that she was interested to run for President.

Haley told him “she’d like to consider” a 2024 run of her own.

Trump added:

“I talked to her for a little while. I said, ‘Look, you know, go by your heart if you want to run,’”

In an interview last month, Trump’s ex-national security advisor John Bolton believes Haley is making a run for Vice President instead of President.

He said:

“I think Nikki’s really running for vice president, that’s my sense. I think she has a problem because she first said she wouldn’t run if President Trump ran.”

Haley’s political background

Donald Trump is familiar with Nikki Haley since she was Trump’s ambassador to the United Nations from January 2017 to December 2018. Haley began her political career in 2004 when she was elected to the South Carolina House where she served for two terms. Then she was the 116th South Carolina Governor from 2011 to 2016.

Haley is of Indian descent as her parents immigrated from Canada to the United States.

Who do you think Donald Trump will choose as his Vice President?
