When Florida police arrested Graylin J. Patterson for trafficking in fentanyl back on June 13, they thought his face looked familiar. That's because just 20 days earlier, back on May 23, they arrested him for multiple misdemeanor driving offenses and for trafficking in Fentanyl.

Officers say they managed to connect him to large amounts of methamphetamine and fentanyl being kept at separate addresses around the area. Police say they found 53 grams of Fentanyl and 248 grams of methamphetamine.

Patterson now faces three additional charges:

    • Trafficking in fentanyl (more than 28 grams)
    • Trafficking in methamphetamine (more than 200 grams)
    • Unlawful use of a two-way device to facilitate a felony.

Sheriff Tommy Ford said the amount of drugs coming into the county is "deeply concerning" and that his department would aggressively pursue traffickers in order to prevent fatalities and protect citizens and visitors.
