Florida Police have arrested a man in connection with the death of his wife. Police say they responded to a well-being check in the 900 block of Ballard Street around 9 am to Tuesday. When they arrived at the scene ASPD Officers and SCFD first responders found Nhu Quynh Pham dead in the bathtub of her apartment.

Police began a search for her husband, Xichen Yang, who was identified as a person of interest. Officers found him quickly and took him into custody.

Florida Mom Charged after Hospital Reports Suspicious Injuries

According to investigators, Yang confessed to a grisly crime. He admitted slashing his wife's throat, placing her in the bathtub, and playing music while he held her hand to watch her die. Yang, 21, faces charges of first-degree murder and tampering with evidence.
