Authorities are looking into the deaths of a man and woman found in a ditch hours after they were reported missing.

David Horn, 89, and Martha Horn, 84, have been identified as the victims.

Around 3 p.m., deputies discovered the couple behind the Hope United Church of Christ.

The sheriff's office got a report from the couple's daughter, who stated that her parents were missing and last seen on a surveillance camera before 11 a.m. Deputies said the victims were discovered together at the end of Glenn Ave. in a shallow ditch.

Evidence suggests no criminal activity and authorities believe the deaths were caused by severe heat.

They were sent to the Medical Examiner's Office for an autopsy to determine the causes of death.
