Kentucky State Police have arrested two minors in connection with the murder of a family member.

Thresa Martin, 49, was allegedly shot and stabbed by a family member under the age of 18. The event occurred in the 900 block of Darby Hollow Road on Wednesday morning.

Martin was fatally assaulted in her bedroom, according to investigators.

One of the suspects has been charged with murder, while the other has been charged with complicity in murder. The teenagers' relationship with Martin has not been revealed.
