Houston, TEXAS - The investigation into the disappearance of a 24-year-old woman who went missing after leaving a Houston strip club continues.

Felicia Johnson was last seen on Friday, April 15 leaving the Cover Girls Strip Club on West Little York Road in Houston, Texas.

Kevin Johnson, Felicia's father, said that she traveled from San Diego to Houston to celebrate her birthday and visit relatives. While in town, she applied for a dancing position at Cover Girls.

After being turned away, an unidentified man at Cover GIrls offered her a ride. Felicia has not been seen or heard from since. She was last seen wearing a silver dress. Felicia's family got worried when they didn't hear from Felicia on Friday night. They were able to track her cell phone to Bear Creek Park, four miles from the strip club where she was last seen. Felicia's father says the phone was discovered covered in blood on the side of the road.

"Time is everything when it comes to situations like these," says Angela Williams.

Texas Equusearch and the New Black Panther Nation members have searched around the park and hung up flyers.

Rumors surfacing are alleging that Felicia Johnson has become the victim of sex trafficking or human trafficking. Felicia's father believes the strip club has something to do with it.

When asked how he was holding it together, "I'm hanging in there," Johnson said. "I got a call from the police today. They said they are actively chasing leads; that gives me hope," he added.

Mr. Johnson hired a private investigator. The FBI is investigating. The New Black Panther Nation and other community organizations have joined the search efforts. Felicia Johnson's father said he would not stop until his daughter was found.

Phillip Hunter has created a GoFundMe on behalf of Felicia Johnson’s father Kevin Johnson. The family is able to receive donations through Cashapp $MayralDay as well. The donations will be used to help with the costs of being out of work, traveling, and any other out-of-state expenses they might incur while in Texas looking for Felicia.

Anyone with information on Felicia Johnson’s disappearance and whereabouts is urged to contact the Houston Police Department’s Patrol Division at (713) 884-3131 or the Houston Police Department’s Missing Persons Division at (832) 394-1840.

A community prayer vigil for Felicia Johnson and her family will be held on Sunday, April 24, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at Bear Creek Park in Houston, Texas.
